The MBTC hosts a whole range of Seminars on a regular basis
see below:
The Kennel Club Confirmation & Movement Seminar on the 8th August 2010.
We are proud to announce that ALL candidates entered passed their accreditation
under the keen observation of Christina Chapman. Prior to their exam Christina
gave the KC Confirmation & Movement seminar and candidates were invited to take
part in some of the movements performed and seen on the dogs when judging. They
travelled from as far away as Aberdeen/Somerset as well as other far off compass points in the UK.
All agreed they had enjoyed the seminar and looked forward to any other that the club runs in the future.
Catering was provided by Sandra Ackroyd & her friend and ‘doggie’ models by Sandra, Jeanette Harrison & Tracey Trowell. All were well behaved except for the occasional ‘burp’ to the amusement of the candidates and helped ‘lighten' the atmosphere.
Breed Specific Seminar 14th May 2011
The day went well all candidates stated how much they had enjoyed the seminar and I am pleased to advise that EVERYONE passed their assessment.
First item on the agenda was the Breed Specific lecture given by Bill Lambert
(KC Health & Accredited Breeder Section ) followed by the examination and critiques on
five dogs. The day ended with the candidates attending an interview with the Breed Assessors
two of the original assessors were unable to attend which threw additional work on Mr J Catlow
and myself, however we soldiered on and all interviews were concluded by mid-afternoon.
